bibliobabe is a cozy book blog for readers who would rather be reading. No sponsored hype, no algorithm-chasing lists — just honest takes, the reading challenges that keep me turning pages, and a friendly nudge toward your next favourite book.
Where this started
I kept a battered reading journal for the better part of a decade before I ever wrote a word online — a line about every book, what stayed with me, who I would hand it to next. bibliobabe grew straight out of that habit. The blog is the journal, opened up and shared.
What you'll find here
- Reviews & recommendations — honest takes and best-books lists by genre, so you spend less time choosing and more time reading.
- Reading challenges — prompts, free printables and the year-long Read, Remember, Recommend challenge.
- Book clubs — discussion questions and per-title guides to make your next meeting effortless.
- Reading guides — practical help to read more, beat a slump and keep a reading journal of your own.
How I review
I read across genres and review 100+ books a year. Every review is my own opinion, written after finishing the book. When a recommendation could earn the blog a small commission, that never changes which books I pick or what I say about them — the goal is always the read you will be glad you started.
Say hello
Reading is better shared. If you want to suggest a book, disagree with a review or tell me what you are reading right now, the contact page is open. I read every note.
